Admin Portal: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

As of December 2024, Symantec tokens will no longer be used to log in to DrFirst’s Canada Admin Portal. Instead, you will receive a one-time verification code via email after entering your username and password.

What is MFA?

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an extra layer of security used to ensure that people trying to access an online account are who they say they are. The multi-factor requires at least 2 ways to authenticate your account:

  1. Login credentials
  2. Unique identifier (one-time verification code)

You will receive a one-time verification code (OTP) via email each time you log in using your username and password. Read more about the log in and OTP process.

Am I required to use MFA to log into Admin Portal?

Yes! Security is very important to DrFirst. By adding additional levels of security, DrFirst is committed to keeping your data safe.

To log into Admin Portal, a user is required to enter their:

  • username and password
  • secondary level of authentication
